Chateaux Double Wide (Urara Tsuchiya and Zoe Williams’ collaborative project), composition and live performance, Glasgow International art festival, 16-18 April (solo cello) and 23-25 April 2016 (with Ectopia).

 

Chateaux Double Wide was a space in the basement of Avant Garde on King Street, Glasgow, constructed by Tsuchiya and Williams, which functioned as a fluid social setting – lounge, bar, club, performance site, and exhibition space.  Châteaux Double Wide probed concepts of hosting, fashion, sexuality, fantasy and role play through the creation of an intricately crafted and intimate environment.
