The Games of the XXXIII Olympiad are upon us, and Jennifer Lucy Allan is on hand to offer an Olympic Games for adventurous listeners.

On Late Junction, the main event is a long distance relay race of a session. We invited a trio of experimental artists to collaborate remotely on a four-leg suite of specially-created pieces. Ethiopian-Swedish vocalist and composer Sofia Jernberg, Iranian-Canadian electronic producer duo Saint Abdullah, and Greek cellist and electronic artist Viki Steiri created music together for the first time, passing tracks between each other like a baton, and taking as their inspiration the words of the Olympic motto: Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together (August 2024).
